Divisional FP&A Manager


To support continued growth, ABFI is seeking to strengthen its divisional finance team by adding a FP&A Manager who will interact closely with the ABFI divisional leadership team and the division-wide Finance teams. ABFI has a vision to cross-train the divisional finance team unlocking bandwidth for project support and facilitating personal development and career progression opportunities for both the FP&A Manager and the wider Divisional Finance team.

Your role will be to:

  • Provide the ABFI Divisional leadership team with the meaningful and robust analysis and reporting they need to make decisions
  • Lead the ABFI financial planning cycle
  • Increasingly develop your responsibilities broadening your skillset and facilitating cross-training of the divisional finance team



  • Own and develop the ABFI management reporting pack based on business requirements
  • Super user for the ABFI TM1 reporting tool. Develop and maintain TM1 to facilitate new reporting requirements
  • Analyse monthly results highlighting key business drivers and issues
  • Prepare quarterly board packs summarising business performance and outlook
  • Lead the end to end financial planning cycle
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting requests. Examples may include monthly slides for the Senior Leadership team and 5-year planning
  • Project support for ABFI and the businesses. Examples may include implementing new division-wide reporting, benchmarking, and improvements to the planning cycle



  • A flexible approach with the desire to develop, learn, and assume new responsibilities. Exposure to the divisional leadership team and regular interaction with the businesses provides an excellent springboard for candidates with a desire for career progression
  • Strong analytical skills to absorb information, draw out key messages, and develop the ‘so what’ for our business
  • Relationship building to develop strong relationships at both a senior and junior level to acquire business intelligence and insights
  • Very comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint
  • System savvy. Experience with a financial reporting tool, such as TM1, BPC or Hyperion, would be advantageous
  • Monthly travel to the UK. Ad hoc travel to the ABFI businesses in Europe and the US
  • Education: Finance degree. University level preferred but not required
  • Work experience: min 1-3 years.
