Community and charity

Since 2017, our annual ABFI Health & Safety Recognition Awards have granted charity donations for winning submissions. The teams or individuals choose the recipient of the donation, often continuing to support charities that have a connection with the site. For example, PGPI supports a local food bank, AB Enzymes donates to the Baltic Sea environmental improvement group, and ABITEC supports the local fire department. Ohly in Hamburg hosts charity football tournaments to raise funds to support a day-care centre helping families in difficult social circumstances including refugees and those in challenging family situations.
